Eau Claire Energy Cooperative was created over 70 years ago by folks getting together, sitting around the table and talking about issues and concerns and how to fix them. The Member Advisory Council takes ECEC back to those grassroots and continues to grow strong!
Few companies allow their consumers to have a direct influence on the way they do business. Eau Claire Energy Cooperative is one company that does. Our Member Advisory Council involves our member-owners as liaisons among other members, board members and staff.
ECEC members serving on the Member Advisory Council will want to be informed and educated about the cooperative as well as its future. These members will want to make a difference in their community and pledge to give feedback and to support the goals and objectives of ECEC by participating in quarterly meetings and program activities.
At the Member Advisory Council meetings we keep members informed about all aspects of the cooperative and, in turn, we hope they will share with us any concerns and information from the community. We feel the Member Advisory Council will help make our cooperative stronger and more efficient.
