How long will it take after I apply?

The enrollment process is effective immediately upon your next billing cycle. When you send in your enrollment form you must also pay your current month's electric bill, as usual. Your next bill will be paid automatically with Direct Bill Payment.

How will my bills be paid?

You will receive a monthly informational billing statement approximately one week before payment will be withdrawn. On the date shown on your bill, Eau Claire Energy Cooperative will inform your financial institution of the amount due. That amount will be automatically deducted from your account.

How do I know if my bill has been paid?

Each Direct Bill Payment will be clearly itemized on your monthly statement from your financial institution and on your monthly billing statement from Eau Claire Energy Cooperative.

What if I have questions or want to stop the plan?

Simply contact Eau Claire Energy Cooperative with any questions you might have, or you can cancel your plan via email to info@ecec.com.

Is there a charge for this service?
