LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD
DISCUSS ENERGY ISSUES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO YOUR COMMUNITY
MEMBER ADVISORY COUNCIL
WHAT IS IT?
ECEC was created over 83 years ago by folks getting together, sitting around the table, and talking about issues and concerns and how to fix them. The Member Advisory Council takes ECEC back to those grassroots and continues to grow strong! At meetings we keep members informed about various aspects of the cooperative and hope they will share any concerns and information from the community.
Co-op members may apply to participate anytime throughout the year, but must be a current ECEC member in good standing or a high school student member. Member must participate in at least 3 out of the 4 quarterly scheduled meetings for two years.
Meetings are generally held quarterly in the evening during the months of January, March (Annual Meeting), July, and October. Each meeting is led by the ECEC Board Chair and the goal is to work with 12-30 members. There is no monetary reimbursement, however, meals are provided by ECEC. Agendas will be mailed or emailed one week prior to each meeting.
What are the goals of the council?
1. To give feedback to current and potential programs and services
2. To discuss the future of Eau Claire Energy Cooperative
