In order to provide safe and reliable service to our members, Eau Claire Energy Cooperative must do routine maintenance and inspection of our poles, lines, and other equipment.

Starting on August 23rd we will be doing pole inspection and testing on our poles in all or parts of the following areas – Garfield, Northfield, Osseo, Otter Creek, and Sumner. We have hired Karcz Utility Services from Pulaski Wisconsin to do this work. While doing this inspection, they may have to dig around some poles to check for rot and decay below the groundline. They will also be obtaining GPS coordinates on all poles and meter locations. Please be aware that if your meter is on the side of your house, they will have to walk through your yard to get to the meter. Their trucks will have magnetic signs that say "Contracted by Eau Claire Energy Cooperative". Your power should not be interrupted while any of this work is being done.
