With the November election approaching, Eau Claire Energy Cooperative is bringing local candidates together for a Candidates Energy Forum to discuss energy issues that matter to our members and communities.

The forum gives candidates an opportunity to learn more about the issues facing electric cooperatives, ask questions, and have a conversation about energy and how energy policy can impact the communities they hope to represent.

ECEC is committed to being a trusted energy advisor for our members and our community. Part of that role is helping elected officials and candidates understand the electric industry and the energy issues that affect the people we serve.

Energy policy can have a lasting impact on the cost, reliability, and availability of electricity. We believe it is important for those seeking public office to have a better understanding of how the electric system works and the challenges facing electric cooperatives today.
